This project included the design and construction of a terrace consisting of five retail units. In addition, included with the works was all external works; such as car parking and landscaping. Included in the works was an A3 pod, that included a dedicated drive thru and again, all external groundwork.
This new retail scheme as constructed directly adjacent to a live Morrisons Store, our works were co-ordinated to avoid any disruption to other site users. Our value engineering approach made cost savings in earthworks with reduction of spoil leaving site, a rationalised piling and substructure design and reconfigured retaining walls to ensure the works complied with the various requirements of the existing and incoming occupiers. Due to the location of the project within a flood plain we additionally designed in flood resilient measures.
